Vinyasa

that’s how we practice yogasana

Vinyasa means breath-synchronized movement. According to one of the founders of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, K. Pattabhi Jois, vinyasa means breathing system. It is also a series of poses that will move you through the power of inhaling and exhaling. Vinyasa movements are smoothly flowing and being almost dance-like which explains why it is sometimes referred to as Vinyasa Flow or just Flow.

At HIGH ON YOGA we are focusing on a dynamic and sweat-producing vinyasa flow to energize the body and mind and to lift it to another level of self-understanding and well-being. Each of our vinyasa classes is composed from different sequences to give you the opportunity to deepen your practice and the understanding of your own body. We believe that vinyasa yoga is not only a set of techniques but a path where you can develop awareness and consciousness, balance and health.
