Are there any special conditions to join?

First of all, you need to have the desire to go trough an intensive process of learning and be ready for a transformation. Second, you need to have an established yoga practice; this means on average a minimum of 1 year regularly practicing yoga. You also need to be in good physical condition to go through the intense asana sessions; minor injuries shouldn’t be an issue. If you are not sure if it is for you — just get in touch with us.

What if I cannot attend some classes or days?

This is not an obstacle. If you miss a day or two we will provide you with all the necessary studying materials. The format of the Teacher Training is self-paced which means you have one extra year to complete more hours, up to the 200+-hour certification.

How big will the group be?

We want to assure the best quality of the studying process and guarantee an intimate atmosphere of the group. Therefore there will be only a maximum of 12 students for the 200+ h course with additional of maximum 6 attendees for the 100h/50h training.

Do I get a certificate?

Yes, you will get a signed official certificate confirming you successfully completed the respective course.

Can I teach yoga after I receive my certificate?

Yes, the most accepted standard minimum first-level certification for yoga teachers is 200 hours. We offer a 200-hour course to ensure the best possible results. You are ready to start teaching after getting your certificate, yet this will be only the beginning of your education.

Can I teach yoga with a 100h certificate?

For the Yoga Alliance standard you need a minimum of 200 hours. With 100 hours you will be able to teach shorter classes or sequences. While some established studios may not find it enough to work with them, you still will be ready for more education and expansion.

Can I take the course if I don't want to teach yoga?

Absolutely yes, our Multi-Style Dynamic Vinyasa & Intense Yin Yoga Teacher Training is build in a way allowing you to decide how much time and energy you can invest at the moment and you can always come back for more later. Actually, many of the alumni do not become yoga teachers for various reasons; many simply want to enrich their yoga knowledge.

Do I have to pay the whole fee at once?

No, only a deposit is mandatory to register, the rest must be paid before the start or via payment plan. There are several option for payment, please contact us to learn more about the payment plan.

Is the training affiliated with Yoga Alliance?

Yes, our instructors are Registered Yoga Teachers per Yoga Alliance and our Training is in process of accreditation.

Will I be able to teach at HOY with my certificate?

After completing a 200h training the alumni can take part in the Yoga Teacher Mentorship Program which is also an apprenticeship at the HIGH ON YOGA studio and can turn into a regular engagement.

Is there a possibility for a continued education?

Yes, we offer the Yoga Teacher Mentorship Program at HIGH ON YOGA for the 200 hrs alumni.

Can I take pictures during the training?

The general rule is no pictures, audio or video recordings are allowed due to copyright reasons and in order to protect the intimacy of the studying process. Please approach us directly if you think an exception could be possible.
