Transform fear into freedom

This week's vibration is the yellow colour.

Yellow is connected to the solar plexus chakra (manipura), however this will not be a chakra tuning week. Cleaning or tuning of a chakra takes a long time and is a difficult process if one is blocked or hyperactivated. I am not promising here any purification of your solar plexus, we are going simply to focus on certain symbolism, vibration, images, body parts and last, but not least, an INTENTION connected with the yellow hues.


Yellow is creative from a mental aspect, it's the color of new ideas, helping us to find new ways of doing things. It is the practical thinker, not the dreamer. Yellow inspires original thought and inquisitiveness.

The color yellow loves a challenge, particularly a mental challenge. It is related to the ego and our sense of self worth, to how we feel about ourselves and how we are perceived by others.

Yellow is the best color to create ENTHUSIASM FOR LIFE and can awaken greater confidence and optimism.

As for the manipura chakra located over the navel region it is connected to HEAT. And heat is a powerful transformer. Just like in our previous red focus last week we will use core work, but also add twists, and pranayama to target this burning and transform obstacles into assets, FEAR INTO FREEDOM

The third chakra is the center of WILLPOWER. While the Sacral chakra seeks pleasure and enjoyment, the third chakra is all about the perception of who you are.

Freedom means is sensing your personal power, being confident, responsible, and reliable.

As yellow resonates with self-esteem, your willpower, self-discipline, as well as warmth in your personality, this vibration allows you to transform INERTIA INTO ACTION and movement. It allows you to meet challenges and mover forward in your life.


The main challenge is to use your personal power in a balanced manner.

To much heat means having emotional outbursts and being often stressed out.

Blocked or deficient third chakra means being passive and inactive - allowing life to pass by while they do nothing.

You have the power to choose and the will to act and overcome obstacles.


Therefore our asana program will include inversions and preparations for them. Expect a headstand preparation and the urdhva dandasana (on the pic). We will focus on core strenthening and twisting poses like parivritta anjenayasana (twisted lounge), parivritta trikonasana (reversed triangle) and shirangushthasana - forward bending warrior.
